BlizzCon

I got back from Anaheim yesterday. I was there for the BlizzCon 2009 convention. Let me just say that BlizzCon was a great experience. I did not think that I was going to make it, but it must have been meant to be and could not be any happier that it turned out that way. Thanks Chris!
Since the moment that we arrived to Anaheim on Thursday it was go, go, go, nonstop. We checked into the Hilton and headed out to pick up our lanyard (passes) as well as our goody bags. The bags have a code for Gunty a vanity pet. Also came with a noob collector's items. The line was long we were there for about 2hrs, but it gave me an idea of what to expect the next morning. We took our bags back to the hotel and went for dinner to Joe's Crab Shack. They served tasty Kings Crab (1st time for me) and also some fabulous Crab Nachos. We walked back to our room and of course as it has been recently I was not tiered. To make myself tired I ended up going downstairs to the bar and talking to some people, who happen to be very friendly.
On Friday morning we got up around 6am and got ready for day one at BlizzCon. We were in line by 7:40am waiting for the doors to open at 10am. Well the guys stayed in line, as I made my Starbucks run, where I was in line for about an hour (things that we will do for some coffee). When the doors open we had got seats for the big announcements, some exciting things are happening for some of the classes, changes to WoW world as I know it, expansions, and lots of good stuff. The rest of the day we got to attend some of the panels, booths, and just enjoy and explored the place. Later in the evening we had the Dance, Voice, and costume competition. I was surprised to see so much talent, also in between the shows they showed some music videos that were awarded. One video that I loved is "Don't Make Me Get My Main" it's a must watch. We went back to our room around 10pm.
Saturday Chris and I got up extra early to get ready. He was down stairs in front of the line by 7:15am. We were some of the first to get in. I was fortunate enough to Play Diablo III, that was super fun. I enjoyed the graphics and surprisingly I could play, so proud, so proud. I also played the new WoW patch "Cataclysm" that was fun...O.o. I played the Alliance puppy, but only to see their weakness. I also played StarCraft II, that really sucked, I did not the minor idea for how to play. Lets just say that I was killed, gave up, and quit the game. On a good note Saturday's concert Rocked literally. Ozzy closed out the show with a great concert. I would have never thought that I would see him perform, but once again it's one of those things that when you never plan it and it just happens it makes everything better. After all out tears for the end to BlizzCon weekend, we went pack to the room changed and headed to the swimming pool. Daniel's friends showed up and we all went to Denny's. I enjoyed their company. We walked back to the hotel got ready for bed and before I knew it I was sleeping (Yay sleeping).
In summery It was a great/fabulous weekend!

Mini Vacation

I took a well deserved mini vacation that began last Thursday. Not going to go into very much detail, I'll just name the places that I was fortunate enough to visit.
On Thursday night I stayed in Solvang and went to the Cumash casino.
Friday Morning went to The Santa Inez mission and stayed for mass. Later that morning left to Oxnard, visited my grandmother, and made a little time for the beach. To end the night my cousin took me out to a club there in town, unfortunately neither one of us liked the ambiance and ended up leaving after 15 minutes. The drive back to my aunts was funner than the club. LOL!
Saturday morning I got up early. I visited my grandmother again, around 10am I went to San Fernando Valley to visit a cousin; from there we went to LA and did some shopping. We got back around 4pm. I went back to Oxnard around 7pm. At 9pm my cousin from Oxnard and I left to a night club in Pico Rodeo, as an attempt to make up for the night before. Saturday's live music was great!
Sunday I got up early went back to my cousin's in SF Valley and we went to Santa Monica. It was truly beautiful, I'm in love with that beach. Later that evening I left for Huntington Park, there I met with some more family and had an easy night with some Starbucks.
Monday morning we took off to Long Beach riding the Metro, where btw I got a bruise in my arm from slamming my arm into a pole. In Long Beach we took a 45min tour boat, it was very interesting history about the harbor, port, and man made islands. It was a great learning experience. That night I visited the Americana Brand plaza in Glendale. It is surrounded by great exclusive shops as well as high-end condos. Overall a great place to visit for shopping or for an enjoyable lunch. Also it has a hypnotizing fountain that host different water patterns (hard to take my eyes off of it).
Tuesday was Monica's B-day we went to a convalescent home and helped sing some rancheras, it made everyone there very happy. Singing old songs helps the elders remember their good times. We had lunch at Hometown Buffet (easy). Later that evening we went to visit some other people. We wanted to have a bon fire at the beach, but we were told that the beach closes at 10pm and it was already 8pm, that was the end to the night. :(
Finally yesterday I came home. I missed my room, happy to be back safe!

Santa Monica

Santa Monica, I love it there! Makes my heart happy! I was there on Saturday and just had a wonderful time.
The ocean brings me great; allows me to think and breath clearly. The sun showers me with it's glow and suddenly I smile at it's beauty. I can cry and have the ocean take my tears into the depth of the sea. It's the place where I am free. In short the waves take anything negative and always bring back their gift, gift of joy and hope. I love the beach!

Underappriciated

I'm having one of those weeks, for some reason Tuesday is always the hardest day of the week for me, so I have noticed. Yesterday I felt like I did not accomplish much. I attempted to get some things done, but I got started too late. The end of my night did not go very well. Someone made me feel less important, I agree with the reasons (reasons that at one time were my idea), but now I still can't help to feel that I can be easily be replaced by just about anyone. There are two people for whom I would be more then happy to give up my place for, but at this point it feels like anyone will do. Anyone as long as it is not me. Yes, of course it hurts.

Poetic

The other night,
I mistaken you for a shooting star
and I asked for three wishes
while I could see your light
