Most of us go through life being told and telling others to not give up. That is the right thing to say...right? Well if that is correct, then no wonder it is so hard to give up; now you feel that you have failed yourself and maybe even others.
A time comes when you know that there are battles that are no longer worth fighting for, perhaps they were lost long ago. One must learn to retrieve, cut their losses, and move forward. This is hard to do even when you that it's for the best.
I'm just asking, how do you know that it's time?
and if so,
what do you do with statements such as never give up on your hopes and dreams, never give up on the one you love, and never settle for less?
Is this when "never say never" comes in?

Home Sweet Home
So I’m back home…it’s nice to be home, despite the fingerprint dust found on our furniture. The losses are minor. The burglars didn’t take much or should I say “there was not much to take”. Home Sweet Home!

Oh New Year...Where Are You???
Today I took my mom and two of my aunts for dinner to one of my favorite restaurants La Pantera Rosa (pink panther). While I was paying the check I noticed that someone had been trying to call me nonstop, unfortunately in Mexico my phone dose not register the number of who is calling, all numbers show as private. Then my phone rings again, it’s my sister telling me that my house was broken into. All I could think was “not again”, if someone six months ago would have said that in the following six months all of the events that have happened would happen, I would have never believed them. Yet so many things have changed and happened, that there has been times where I don't know where to run to. Can’t wait for the New Year.

Christmas
12/24
Christmas Eve! Has been a good night, my family from Mexico City is here. We had a few drinks and listened to the banda playing outside my door.

Christmas Day! This was a lazy day; I didn’t get out of my pajamas until the afternoon. The kitchen looks like a buffet since last night, there is so much food. My dad brought a box of fresh picked strawberries, guess what I eat. Later my cousin took me to buy a cake, I had been craving a pastel de tres leches for days; we got the cake and on our way back stopped and bought another two boxes of strawberries. I should be making strawberries agua fresca sometime soon.

In Mexico at last
I arrived to Mexico, things look a little different. I feel a little lost, it has been two years. I don’t seem to have a good sense of direction of cities or towns. It feels a little weird and I feel out of place, I'll figure it out.
My house has fresh paint, a new bathroom, my sister’s room has an arch and I'll be sleeping in a new mattress.

Another day
Today is just another day...it's been 5 months, but at times it feels like it was last week. I know it was not my imagination, It was real.
